Enjoyed the boat trip. The service for food and drink was very good and it was lovely to get a different perspective of the city from the water. We did this after the hop on hop off bus the day before and it worked well.

We bought the hop on hop off bus tour plus river cruise combo. The river cruise was amazing: great spoken commentary in German and English for the duration of the trip, cruised past the city's top sights and had multiple opportunities to get the right shots. Also had perfect weather!
The bus tour was also good, but commentary was a little lacking in places. We had long stretches of just driving. Also, due to road construction, the route changed a bit. This would have been helpful to highlight upon purchase of tickets--could easily have been included in the text/email with the ticket link. Still worth, it though. We rode the route twice in order not to miss anything!
